Obituary of Ralph Troutman

Waterloo - Ralph A. Troutman, Sr., 92, of 22 Stewart St., died Sunday (March 8, 2015) at Geneva General Hospital in Geneva.
Friends may call 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday (March 10, 2015) at Coe-Genung Funeral Home. Military rites will be performed at 7 p.m. Tuesday (March 10) at the funeral home by members of Waterloo Memorial Post 6433, V.F.W. and Warner Van Riper Post 435, American Legion. The funeral service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday (March 11) at the funeral home. Rev. Sarah West, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church of Waterloo, will officiate. Spring burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery in Waterloo.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Beverly's Animal Shelter, 50 E. River St., Waterloo, NY, 13165.
Ralph was born August 5, 1922 in Fayette, the son of Demont A. and Emma M. Lerkins Troutman. He was a W.W. II Army veteran. Ralph was employed with many companies during his years of work. He was a lifetime member of the V.F.W. Post 2670 in Geneva. He was also a member of Seneca Falls Elks Lodge 992, B.P.O.E. Ralph was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Waterloo.
He is survived by son, Ralph (Nancy) Troutman, Jr. of Rochester; daughter, Peggy Bird of Waterloo; five grandchildren, Teri (Heath) Adams, Brian (fiance, Juanita Garza) Bird, Heather Millis, Nicole (Chris) Kaiser, and Amy Troutman; five great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; sisters, Ruth Catherman and Florence "Flossie" Hojnacki both of Waterloo; and many special nieces and nephews.
Ralph was predeceased by his wife, Vivian A. Troutman; brother, Kenneth C. Troutman; sisters, Ethel Landis Deal, Mary DeLos Doty, Caroline Troutman; and son-in-law, Gary Bird.
