Obituary of Randy Gilbo

Waterloo - Randy S. Gilbo, 26, of 8 West St., died Friday (March 6, 2015) at his home. Friends may call from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday (March 12) at Coe-Genung Funeral Home in Waterloo. The funeral service will be 11 a.m. Friday (March 13) at Calvary Lutheran Church, 2414 Rt. 414, Seneca Falls. Rev. William Dorow, Jr., pastor, will officiate. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Beverly's Animal Shelter, 50 E. River St., Waterloo, NY, 13165. Randy was born June 3, 1988, in Geneva, the son of Daniel C.and Nancy Sawall Gilbo. He was a 2008 graduate of Waterloo High School. Randy earned his Associates Degree in Bio Technology from FLCC. He was employed as a team leader with Summit in Waterloo. Randy was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church in Seneca Falls. He was very active in Pee Wee Wrestling, in his younger years and later, varsity wrestling for Waterloo High School. Family was extremely important to Randy. He is survived by his parents; brothers, Todd (Lindsay Ottenschot) Gilbo of Seneca Falls, Jonathon (Amanda Jetty) Gilbo of Williamsburg, VA, and Kevin (Elizabeth) Gilbo of Glenville, W. Virginia; maternal grandparents, Alfred and Ida Sawall of Waterloo; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
