Waterloo - Valerie Lynn Streitz, 54, of 662 Whiskey Hill Rd, died Friday (February 6, 2015) at F.F. Thompson Hospital in Canandaigua. Friends may call from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday (February 10) at Coe-Genung Funeral Home in Waterloo. The funeral service will be 7 p.m.Tuesday (February 10) at the funeral home. Rev. Ellen Donnan, pastor of Junius Presbyterian Church, will officiate. Spring burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery in Waterloo. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Bridges for Brains, 5760 Duke of Gloucester Way, Canandiagua, NY, 14425. Valerie was born May 12, 1960 in Seneca Falls, the daughter of Albert and Leola Hodge Young. She was employed for a brief period of time with Nafco in Newark. Valerie enjoyed volunteering for Bridges for Brains. She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Daniel A.Streitz; son, Daniel A.Streitz, Jr. of Waterloo; grandson., Nathan Murphy of Burdett; brother, Rick Young and sister, Kim Young both of Waterloo; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
