Junius/Waterloo - Romaine J. Dutcher, 84, of Stone Church Rd., died Sunday (January 25, 2015) at his home with his loving family by his side.
Friends may call 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday (Jan. 28) at Coe-Genung Funeral Home in Waterloo. The funeral service will be 7 p.m. Wednesday (Jan. 28) at the funeral home. Rev. Laura Calos, pastor of Waterloo United Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery in Waterloo.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Seneca County Office of the Aging, 1 DiPronio Dr., Waterloo, NY, 13165.
Romaine was born Feb. 17, 1930 in Seneca Falls, the son of James F. and Margaret Halsey Dutcher. He was a graduate of Clyde-Savannah School. He began employment at Evans Chemetics in Waterloo, then worked at Zotos International for 45 years.
He is survived by his son, Romaine G. "Butch" (Deb) Dutcher of Waterloo; daughters, Linda (Ron) Bonney and Kay (Neal) Folts both of Waterloo; grandchildren, Kim Johnson, Kristine Claure, Robert (Angela) Bonney, Gary (Cheryl) Bonney, Tim (Kelly) Bonney ,Casey (Mike) Kapp, Neal Folts, Jr. and Tom Folts; many great grandchildren and one great great grandson; many nieces and nephews; godchild, Patty Plate Smithover; and caregivers, Butch and Donna Burton.
Romaine was predeceased by his wife, Maude M. Dutcher; daughter, Nancy L. French; grandson, Jim French; and one sister, Dorothy French.
