Obituary of Martha Urwin

Waterloo - Martha Mohler Urwin, 88, formerly of 27 Wycliffe Rd., died Monday (July 28, 2014) at Huntington Living Center in Waterloo. Friends may call Thursday (July 31) from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Coe-Genung Funeral Home in Waterloo. The funeral service will be 10 a.m. (Aug. 1) at St. Paul's Episcopal Church. Rev. Naomi Sorrwar-Randall interim rector, will officiate. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery in Waterloo. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 101 E. Williams St., Waterloo, NY, 13165. Martha was born March 13, 1926 in Statesville, N.C. , the daughter of Roy W., Sr. and Buellah Ried Mohler. She retired in April of 1994, after 18 years of employment with Seneca Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. During her retirement she enjoyed volunteering at the N.Y. Chiropractic College Athletic Center. She found great pleasure in bowling, bingo, and golfing. Martha was a longtime member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Waterloo. She is survived by her sons, Elbert E. (Michelle) Eller of Seneca Falls and Craig H. (Nora) Eller of Walnut Creek, CA; daughter, Dawn (Peter) Salerno of Seneca Falls; six grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Martha was predeceased by her husband, Donald N.
