Waterloo - Arthur C. Andrews, 67, of 371 E. Main St., Apt. 315, died Wednesday (July 23, 2014) at Upstate Medical University Hospital in Syracuse. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday (July 26) at Coe-Genung Funeral Home in Waterloo. The funeral service will be 11a.m. Saturday (July 26) at the funeral home. Rev. Floyd Marsh, pastor or Harvest Field Baptist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery in Waterloo. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to organization of one's choice. Art was born December 7, 1946 in Geneva, the son of Charles J. and Mildred J. Daggett Andrews. He was a 1970 graduate of Geneva High School. He graduated from Akron Technical School in Akron, OH. Art owned and operated AVA Incorporated in Waterloo, a long distance trucking business for 28 years. He is survived by daughters, Tina (Donald) McChesney of Charlotte, N.C., Doreen Andrews, Joleen Andrews, and Heidi Andrews all of Corning; son, David Boyd of Corning; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters, Lylea Randall of Waterloo and April VanDusen of Crystal Beach; brothers, John Andrews of Mantua, OH, Nelson Andrews, Ronald Andrews, and David Andrews all of Waterloo; and many nieces and nephews. Art was predeceased by his wife, Violet J. Andrews; sisters, Mabel Bishop, Hazel Garrett, and Dolly Backus. Condolences for the family may be sent to www.coegenungfuneralhome.com.
