Obituary of Richard Dilts

Romulus - Richard O. Dilts, 69, of 4511 Dilts Rd., died Wednesday (October 10, 2012) at Geneva General Hospital.
Friends may call 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday (Oct. 13) at Coe-Genung Funeral Home in Waterloo. Members of the Seneca Falls Elks Lodge 992 will have a memorial service at 6:30 p.m. Saturday (Oct. 13) at the funeral home. The funeral service will be 2 p.m. Sunday (Oct. 14) at the funeral home. Rev. Phyllis Granger, pastor of First Baptist Church in Geneva will officiate. Burial will be in Fayette Rural Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK, 73123-1718.
Richard was born June 29, 1943 in Seneca Falls, the son of Clarence M. and Eva Doty Dilts. He retired after 32 years of employment with the NYS Department of Transportation. Dick was a lifetime member of Seneca Falls Elks Lodge 992. He was a lifetime member of the Fayette Fire Department.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Carol Dilts; son: Jerry (Mary) Dilts of Waterloo; daughter: Dawn (Arthur) Ceratti-Brown of Geneva; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sister: Betty (Richard) Parker of Seneca Falls; and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by one brother: Harold L. Dilts.
