Obituary of Ross Swim

Seneca Falls - Ross B. Swim, 72, formerly of Seneca Falls, died Tuesday (March 25, 2014) at The Homestead in Penn Yan. Friends may call from 7 p.m to 9 p.m. on Monday (Mar. 31) at Coe-Genung Funeral Home in Waterloo. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the organization of one's choice. Ross was born Dec. 16, 1941 in Geneva, the son of Carl C. and Hester Beach Swim. He was employed with the Newark Developmental Center for many years. Then he was employed with the NYS Parks and Recreation Department working at Cayuga Lake State Park in Seneca Falls. Ross volunteered with North Seneca Ambulance for many years. He is survived by his son, Duane (Bobbie) Swim of Fayette; daughter, Darlene Arnold of Alabama; four grandchildren; one great-grandson; sisters, Carol (Martin) Curran and Sharon (Anthony) Urbano both of Geneva; half-brothers, Vernon (Marian) Swim and Raymond Swim both of Weedsport; and many nieces and nephews.
