WATERLOO/MANCHESTER – Kevin V. French, 70, of Manchester, NY and formerly of Waterloo, NY, passed away peacefully at Clifton Springs Hospital with his loving family by his side. Family and friends may call from 4 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. Wednesday (April 24) at Coe-Genung Funeral Home, 46 W. Main St., Waterloo, NY. The memorial service will immediately follow at 7:45 p.m. at the funeral home. Rev. James Fennessy, pastor of St. Mary's Catholic Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Waterloo, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Waterloo Little League, 1246 State Rt. 96 Waterloo, NY 13165. Kevin was born July 28, 1953, in Hillsborough, NH, the son of Victor G. and Josephine A. Sinicropi French. He was a 1971 graduate of Waterloo Central High School. Kevin earned his Associates degree from SUNY Delhi. He was employed with Clifton Springs Hospital as an electrician. Kevin was self employed owning and operating French Morocco Electric in Phelps, NY. As a master electrician, Kevin did commercial and residential electrical work. Kevin was an avid outdoorsman and was on the water fishing whenever possible. He played a huge part in Waterloo Little League, serving as president for many years, and then continuing to umpire for just as many. He loved to watch his granddaughters play softball and never missed a game. He also liked to paint in his free time in his "man room," listening to his favorite music. He was the most loving, caring, funny person and would do anything for anybody. He is survived by his daughter Casey (John Houck) L. Kapp of Waterloo, NY; grandchildren Mackenzie Kapp, Kayla (Justin) Hebert, and Morgan Kapp; siblings Gary (Elizabeth McGee) J. French of Charleston, SC, and sister Cynthia Vick of Grand Junction, CO; partner Sharon A. Griffin of Manchester, NY; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews; and Vic's third wife Joyce French of Waterloo, NY. Kevin was predeceased by his first wife Nancy L. French; his second wife Jean M. French; son James V. French; and his parents Victor and Josephine French.
