Waterloo – Doris V. Dadson, 95, of 10169 Charlemont Ave., Englewood, FL, formerly of Waterloo, NY, died Saturday (February 18, 2017) at Tidewell Hospice in Port Charlotte, FL. There will be no calling hours. The funeral service will be 11 a..m. Saturday (May 6) at Coe-Genung Funeral Home in Waterloo, NY. Rev. Leah Ntuala, pastor of Seneca Falls Presbyterian Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Waterloo, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Pathway Home, P.O. Box 516, Seneca Falls, NY, 13148. Doris was born April 24, 1921, in Geneva, NY, the daughter of James and Delores Hand Gardner. She attended school in Phelps. Doris was employed with Evans Chemetics in Waterloo, NY and later at Zotos International, retiring in 1992. She is survived by son, Dennis (Janet) Dadson of Pittsford, NY; grandson, Timothy (Megan Carlyle) Dadson of Washington, DC; great-grandchildren, William and Mairin; brother, Dawayne (Fay) Siegwalt of Newark; nephew, Darryl (Kelly) Siegwalt of East Hampstead, NH; a great-niece and great-nephew. Doris was predeceased by her husband, Norman Dadson in 1992; and brother, Marlin Siegwalt. Condolences for the family may be sent to www.coegenungfuneralhome.com.
