WATERLOO – Cythnia "Tad" LoPiccolo, 73, of Waterloo, passed away Wednesday, January 7, 2026) at Auburn Community Hospital.

Cynthia was born July 31, 1952, in Waterloo, NY, the daughter of Elias Robert and Carol Jean Blasting Tighe. She was a graduate of Waterloo Central High School. Cynthia was employed for many years at Seneca Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Waterloo.

Family and friends may call from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday (January 24) at Coe-Genung Funeral Home.

She is survived by her "grand", Taylor (Chloe Champion) LoPiccolo, sisters, Sherry McCann, Lynne Hennigan, Deborah LaBelle, and Bonnie Brown (who passed away a week later), and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that a tree be planted in her honor, honoring her spiritual connection to the Earth.

Cynthia is predeceased by both her parents, son, Francis (Skeeter) LoPiccolo, brother Robert Tighe, and sister, Dawn Metts.
