WATERLOO – Parthenia Sue Jacobs Exell, 83, passed away Thursday (January 1, 2026) at Geneva General Hospital.

In keeping with Sue's wishes there will be no calling hours. The funeral service will be 11 a.m. Monday (Jan. 12) at Coe-Genung Funeral Home. Spring burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Waterloo, NY.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Leukemia Research Foundation, 1991 Waukegan Rd., Ste. 105, Northfield, IL, 60093.

Sue was born in Portsmouth, VA, Nov. 15, 1942, the daughter of Joseph W. and Parthenia F. Forehand Jacobs. She was a 1960 graduate from Waterloo Central High School. She graduated from Freeman Business School in Geneva, NY. Sue was employed for many years with Goulds Pumps, until retirement. She also was employed with Geneva General Hospital. Sue volunteered for many years for North Seneca Ambulance Corp. She was a member of the Waterloo United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her son William (Tammy Schafer) S. Exell of Geneva, NY; grandson Samuel Exell of Jacksonville, FL; granddaughter Shawna (Patrick) O'Brien of Waterloo, NY: step-grandson Justin Bluto of Waterloo, NY; many great-grandchildren; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Sue was predeceased by her parents; and brother J. Benjamin Jacobs.
