WATERLOO – Joyce M. Wagner Yost, 90, of Waterloo, NY, passed away peacefully Friday (December 5, 2025) at Living Center at Geneva – North with her loving family by her side.

Family and friends may call from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday (Dec. 11) at the Coe-Genung Funeral Home. The funeral service will immediately follow at 3 p.m. Thursday (Dec. 11) at the funeral home. Rev. Anita Milne, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church of Waterloo, will officiate. Spring burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Waterloo, NY.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First Presbyterian Church of Waterloo, 42 E. Main St., Waterloo, NY, 13165.

Joyce was born Oct. 6, 1935, in Geneva, NY, the daughter of the late Chester and Doris Kuney Wagner. She was a 1953 graduate of the Waterloo Central High School. Joyce was employed at Willard Psychiatric Hospital. Then she married the love of her life, Charles A. Yost. Returning to Waterloo after Chuck was discharged from the service, Joyce was employed at the village office for the Village of Waterloo. Eventually Joyce was employed with Evans Chemetics until her retirement. She was a lifelong member of the First Presbyterian Church of Waterloo and an active member of the church.

She is survived by her children Lori (Michael) Morales of Ft. Worth, TX, David (Anne) Yost of Morrison, CO and Allison (Patrick) Crowe of Romulus, NY; grandchildren Nicole (Jason) Small, Jared Morales, Tayler (Henry Amster) Crowe, Megan, Kendra (Sean) McMullen and Ryan Yost; great-granddaughter Odessa Small; brother David Wagner of Waterloo, NY; sisters Laura Keyes of Soddy-Daisy, TN and Helen M. Patsos of Waterloo, NY; cousins, nieces and nephews.

Joyce was predeceased by her husband Charles A. Yost and sister Dorothy Wolfe.
