FAYETTE — Tammy (Hutchinson) Whitfield, 54, passed away Tuesday (November 11, 2025) at her home in Fayette, NY.

Family and friends may call 1 PM to 2 PM Sunday (December 7) at Coe-Genung Funeral Home, 46 W. Main St., Waterloo, NY. The memorial service will follow at 2 PM at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 10727, Rochester, NY 14610 or Community Counseling Center, 1 DiPronio Drive, Waterloo, NY, 13165.

Tammy was born October 28, 1971 in Geneva, NY, the daughter of Dorothy Joan Hutchinson. Tammy worked as a cashier. She was a wonderful person, fun loving, life of the party and then some. She was loved by many people of all walks of life, and she loved them too. She was kind and generous to a fault.

Tammy is survived by her siblings Wendy (Irfan) Yaran, Rodney (Kathy) Hutchinson, Timothy (Tiffany Arndt) Hutchinson and Tracy (Liston) Gist; nieces Rhonda Hutchinson, Jessica Matello, Kara Hutchinson and Alexandra McMann; and several nephews and cousins.

She was predeceased by her parents.
