WATERLOO — Gloria Marie Thillman, 89, passed away peacefully on Monday (November 17, 2025) at Bethany Manor in Horseheads, NY.

The funeral service will be 11 AM Tuesday (November 25) at Coe-Genung Funeral Home, 46 W. Main St., Waterloo, NY 13165. Fr. Fennessey, pastor of St. Mary's Catholic Church, will officiate. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Waterloo, NY.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Dementia Society of America (www.dementiasociety.org).

Gloria was born October 17, 1936 in Waterloo, NY, the daughter of Dominick and Teresa Christiano. She was a 1954 graduate of Waterloo Central High School and went on to study at Freeman Business School in Geneva, NY. Gloria worked for attorneys in the area, and retired in 1998 after many years of working as a teacher's assistant and administrator for the Waterloo Central School District. She was a longtime communicant at St. Mary's Church in Waterloo.

Gloria is survived by her loving husband of 52 years Daniel Thillman, Jr. of Waterloo, NY; son Robert S. Calvert of Rochester, NY; daughter Shelley Lynn Stout of Horseheads, NY; stepdaughter Lori Marie Thillman of Waterloo, NY; son-in-law Thomas Stout; grandchildren Alexis and Joshua Stout, and Valentine and Luke Thillman; brother Joseph Christiano of Reno, NV; and several cousins.

She was predeceased by her parents.
