I met Larry when I started playing pool for Vonnies in 2008. He was a great man! Friendly and compassionate. I will miss him dearly. Prayers and Hugs to his family and his companion Kate, a wonderful and loving person. So, so sorry for your loss!

Larry was a fun guy to be around. He was always very generous at sharing his homes with our family. Elisha Street at Christmas, the Lake house for summer picnics, even his condo in Ft Meyers he let my parents and I stay at. I have great memories of us being together at all those places. Most recently and very important was he let Brendan and Costina have their wedding reception there.

We rode a lot miles together on many cross country adventures. Larry led the way, unafraid and unapologetic....he was our leader. We met a lot of friends along the way that we hadn't met before...Larry was always a friend to any stranger that crossed our paths. Love ya big guy! Here's to many more miles in spirit, love and blessings. ~ JAS

I met Larry 30 years ago at my first State Dart tournament in Waterloo. He always welcomed me with a smile and huge hug and was known to assist with a needed room and was one of the most genuine people I've ever had the honor of meeting. Attending that tournament will never be the same one moving forward without him. My deepest condolences too everyone who works him, especially his family... Thinking of your Doc! Rest easy my friend! ❤️

Linsey and Doc: I first meet your dad when working at Ferrara Lumber back in the late 60’s or early 70’s. Always had a good time when he came into yard for materials. He loved sports, but his children, grandchildren, family members, was his pride and joy! He will be missed by many friends and family!

I met Larry , while washing his Corvette in the parking lot of Harbour Pointe In Fort Myers Beach . I noticed the NY license plate and asked where he was from. I told him that I was from the Utica area. He told me that the next day he was having a pre Super Bowl party and invited me to attend. So my husband and I went and that’s when we met Kate. This party became a highlight of the season complete with Super Bowl pools, food, wine, all kinds of liquor and many friends . He and Kate were gracious hosts and I looked forward to it every year. Larry was a great guy and everyone loved to be in his company and enjoy friends. He will be greatly missed missed by many.
