WATERLOO — Stephen E. Faust, 78, passed away Sunday (August 10, 2025) at Pathway Home of the Finger Lakes, Tyre, NY.

The memorial service will be 3 PM Thursday (September 18, 2025) at Coe-Genung Funeral Home, 46 W. Main St., Waterloo, NY.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Pathway Home of the Finger Lakes, P.O. Box 516, Seneca Falls, NY 13148.

Stephen was born September 30, 1946 in Harrisburg, PA, the son of Cyril and Beatrice Bax Faust. He received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Shippensburg University, where he was also a member of the Sigma Pi fraternity. Stephen worked at various universities, including the University of Northern Iowa, Buffalo State College, and Suny College at Old Westbury, ending his career as the Dean of Students at the New York Chiropractic College in Seneca Falls, NY.

Stephen is survived by his loving wife, Claudia; children Jennifer Marie, Jeffrey (Tara), Jennifer Elizabeth (Chris), and Kim (Mark) Frantz; grandchildren Abby, Asher, Jacob (Pierina), Michael, Jennifer, Catherine, Justine and Maddy; and sister Barbara (John) Luckhardt.
