WATERLOO – Catherine Louise "Mrs. J" Johnson, 81, passed away Monday (June 23, 2025) at Geneva General Hospital, Geneva, NY. In keeping with the family's wishes, there will be no calling hours. A graveside service will be 1 PM Wednesday (July 2) at NYS Veterans Cemetery - Finger Lakes, Romulus, NY. Fr. James Fennessy, pastor of St. Mary's Catholic Church, will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1999, Memphis, TN 38101. Catherine was born November 4, 1943 in Seneca Falls, NY, the daughter of Michael and Elthea Green Worski. She was a graduate of Mynderse Academy and worked as a legal secretary for the Seneca County Courts in Waterloo, NY. Catherine had previously worked for Sylvania and Mozaic. Catherine is survived by sons Daniel (Tracey Galens) Johnson of Waterloo, NY, Donald (Sandy) Johnson and Michael (Jeannine) Struble of Seneca Falls, NY; grandchildren Kali Struble, Courtney (Sean Reed) Johnson, Rachel (Jeremy) Sweenie, Jessie (Brandon) Schultz, Lindsay (Al) Ashong-Katai and Brian (Halle) Johnson; great-grandchildren Raegan Sweenie, Rayleigh Sweenie, MacKenzie Reed, Jeremiah Sweenie, Addalyn Schultz, Arayan Ashong-Katai, Silas Reed, and Josiah Sweenie; and brother-in-law Gary Zona of Seneca Falls, NY. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Richard Allen Johnson in 2020; her parents; brother John Worski; and sisters Sharon Zona and Lois Chaffey.
