JUNIUS — Nancy Alice Smith, 84, passed away peacefully Thursday (May 1, 2025) at Clifton Springs Hospital, Clifton Springs, NY with her loving family by her side. Family and friends may call 4 PM to 6 PM Tuesday (May 13) at Coe-Genung Funeral Home, 46 W. Main St., Waterloo, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Southwick Cemetery Assoc., c/o Kay Brownell, Treas., 675 Dublin Rd., Clyde, NY 14433. Nancy was born April 6, 1941 in Waterloo, NY, the daughter of Richard Samuel and Esther Harriet Dawley Dillon. She was a 1959 graduate of Mynderse Academy, and went on to work as a secretary at Goulds Pumps and then in later years as a retail clerk for Ye Olde Woode Shoppe in Waterloo, New York and Walmart, Waterloo, NY Nancy is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Daryl Nathan Smith of Junius, NY; daughters Amy (Fred) Klee of Phelps, NY and Sara Reynolds of Farmington, NY; son Eric Reynolds of Fountain Inn, SC; stepson Daryl N. Smith, Jr. of Waterloo, NY; stepdaughters Brenda (Tom) Wooster of Geneva, NY and Denise (Ken) Vreeland of Waterloo, NY; grandchildren Mackenzie (Mike Reed) Klee, Karlie Klee, Kelsie (Max Roeland) Klee, David Smith, Alaina Smith, Erika (Trevor) Moffitt, Corinne (Greg Mayo) Smith, Gabrielle (Chuck) Edwards, Jacob (Leah Laws) Vreeland, and Julia Vreeland; 8 great-grandchildren and several cousins. She was predeceased by her parents; sister Mary Ann Dillon; and infant sister Harriet Dillon.
