PORT BYRON — Brenda Marie Stage, 72, passed away Friday (February 21, 2025) at Auburn Community Hospital, Auburn, NY.
Brenda was born November 23, 1952 in Waterloo, NY, the daughter of Shirley Clark Thomas. She attended Waterloo Central High School, and went on to work as a CNA for Seneca Nursing & Rehab Center in Waterloo, NY. Brenda then worked at the Junius Ponds Rest Stop for the NYS Thruway, and was last employed at the Microtel in Seneca Falls, NY. She loved to crochet, and knitting.
Brenda is survived by son Brent Clark of Shelbyville, TN; daughters Shawn Dingman of Port Byron, NY, Cassandra Stage of Waterloo, NY and Angel Marie Stage of Shelbyville, TN; 11 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; siblings Roger (Jasmine) Clark of AR, Karen (Thomas) Kime of Geneva, NY, and Cynthia (Tony) Martin of N. Fort Myers, NY; uncle Joseph (Jean) Kime of Waterloo, NY; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her mother and stepfather, Shirley and Ted Thomas; brother Gail A. Thomas; and sister Patricia Bingham.
