FAYETTE — Kathleen M. Minnier, 78, passed away Saturday (February 8, 2025) at home from ALS with her loving family by her side.

In keeping with her wishes, there will be no calling hours or service. Kathy has gifted her body to the University of Rochester Medical Center.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The ALS Association, 1300 Wilson Blvd. Suite 600, Arlington, VA 22209, or the Seneca House of Concern, 22 Locust St., Waterloo, NY 13165.

Kathy was born November 8, 1946 in Seneca Falls, NY, the daughter of Joseph and Gladys Roe Yakeley. She cleaned for the Seneca Falls V.F.W, and retired from Seneca County as a court clerk after many years of service. Kathleen was a 55-year member of the Waterloo Memorial Post 6433 V.F.W Ladies Auxiliary, and was a Webelos leader for Troop 75 in Romulus, NY. She was a member and communicant of St. Patrick's Catholic Church.

Kathy is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Frank L. Minnier, Sr. of Fayette, NY; son Franklin (Sonia) Minnier, Jr. of Seneca Falls, NY; daughter Jackie (Kris) Karlsen of Romulus, NY; grandchildren Haylie (Ethan) Preston, Kelby Karlsen, Franklin (Bree) L. Minnier, III, and Tyler (Brittany) Minnier; great-grandchildren Alexis, Franklin L. Minnier, IV, Cayden, Carter, and Conner, who called her GiGi; and cousin Nancy Roe of Waterloo, NY.

She was predeceased by her parents.
