ROMULUS — Dorothea "Feedie" Somerville, 94, of Romulus, NY, passed away peacefully Wednesday, January 28, 2025.

Family and friends may call 12 PM to 1 PM Saturday (February 8) at Finger Lakes Baptist Church, 1000 Yale Station Rd, Geneva, NY. The funeral service will follow at 1 PM at the church. Rev. Barry Somerville, pastor of the church, will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Finger Lakes Baptist Church, 1000 Yale Station Rd, Geneva, NY 14456.

Feedie was born September 23, 1930 in Geneva, NY, the daughter of Joel and Myrtle Hudson. She was a 1949 graduate of Romulus Central School District. She was involved in numerous service ministries, including church pianist and various children's ministries as a faithful member of Finger Lakes Baptist Church, Eastgate Christian Youth Ministries and Protestant Released Time for Romulus Central School. Feedie was predeceased by her husband of seventy years, Jim, in 2020.

She is survived by four children; Barry (Bette) Somerville of Fayette, NY, Rebecca (Doug) Little of Rochester, NY, Valerie (Craig) O'Hair of Chesterton, IN, and James (Kristine) Somerville of Dundee, NY; twelve grandchildren; twenty-seven great grandchildren; brother-in-law Robert (Mary) Somerville of Johannesburg, S. Africa; sisters-in-law Lorraine (Wes) Somerville of Winston-Salem, NC and Mary Lou Hohman of Pittsburg, PA; and many nieces and nephews.
