My name is Jean Pierre Limandas from France and i got to know Dennis in the 70s with my brother Bernard (who passed in 1976) Bernard and Dennis had known each other in France at a religious rally in Taize and they were very close Bernard and my self travelled many times to the US and we visited Dennis and his parents in Seneca Falls Then i understand that Dennis moved to Europe He visited us in the 70s in Lyon (France) before my brother passed I then married Naima in 1981, had a daughter Delhia and again travelled the three of us to Seneca Falls to say hi to Dennis parents I believe in 1986 (I have some pictures) and then again in the 90s but Dennis parents had passed. I have tried to get in touch with him with Facebook and all bu to no avail. I have wonderful souvenirs of my days in Seneca Falls hanging around in the beautiful Finger Lakes region. I'd be glad to exchange with his children if they read this message and send them my deepest condolences. Great memories of dinners at his mothers house with sons. His life was full of adventure that we chatted about . He lived a life that most people could only dream about. He was so fast as he was a great attribute to our relay that was as fast as any in all of section 5. I was proud of Dennis and his teammates and still talk about them. I remember SO CLEARLY the day I met Dennis….August 1973. The day I came to New Jersey for a family wedding. I met all of those people who would eventually become family to me. Among them were Uncle Don and Aunt Ronnie and, arriving later that day, Dennis. They were, unbeknownst to me at that time, eventually going to become a special group of people. As a New Yorker among a throng of New Jersey folks, the Romeos were my soul mates. I will remember them always as my best support system. Uncle Don was my NY Pal!! Needless to say, the years have flown since then. Now I will answer the phone in the summer months expecting to hear “Hey Pat. Dennis here.”…….memories of Dennis’ summers in the Finger Lakes region.

I will always remember the road trips Dennis and I took to New York City during high school and college. We always stayed with one of his many cousins in Northern New Jersey. Great times. Great memories. Rest in peace old friend.
