WATERLOO – Erdine E. TenEyck Spencer, 88, passed away Friday (February 17, 2023) at Geneva General Hospital.

In keeping with Erdine's wishes, there will be no calling hours or services.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, P. O. Box 1000, Dept. 12, Memphis, TN, 38101-9908.

Erdine was born March 20, 1934, in DeKalb Junction, NY, the daughter of Clarence and Ella Stowell TenEyck. She was a graduate of Waterloo High School. Erdine was employed with Moore's Furniture Store in Waterloo, NY. Many described her as a woman with a "Spitfire" personality. She loved hummingbirds. Everyday she would do a crossword puzzle and enjoyed reading.

She is survived by her daughters Kathleen K. Brockway of Waterloo, NY, and Barbara (Gary) Yeo of Nancy, KY; sons Jeffery Spencer of Waterloo, NY, and Rodney Spencer of Lehigh Acres, FL; grandchildren Matthew (Maggie) Yeo, Autumn DeVries (Jason Palmer), and Kristin Brockway; great-grandchildren Cameron, Parker, Marah, and Matthew; sisters Maralene Healey of Greece, NY, and Joan (William) Savage of Aurora, CO; many nieces and nephews. Special family friend Ray (Terri) Burton.

Erdine was predeceased by her parents; husband Frank "Herb" Spencer; grandson Michael Morris; sisters Katherine Hayes, Gwendolyn Peck and M. Eileen Buchholz; brothers Robert TenEyck, Donald TenEyck, Earl TenEyck, Wallace TenEyck, and Erwin TenEyck.
