We were very saddened to hear of Gary's passing. We had met him through my father, Steve Defendorf. Gary was very engaging and I enjoyed talking with him.

Judy all of the guys from camp are thinking of you at this time and are heartbroken. Brittsy was Bigger than life and certainly set the tone for years, of the fellowship and laughter that we all shared at the Starksbury Chuckwagon, a name that he came up with. He introduced us to Pitch which is still the game of choice to this day. He now joins Chucky, Pepe, and Bobby in that great hereafter. There may be a game of pitch going on right now. He was our main cook for many years and we have missed him these last few years when he didn't feel well enough to join us. Our time together dates back to 1973. He was like a brother to many of us. You have our deepest sympathy.
