Geneva – Dorothy H. Kime, 98, of East Lake Road, died Wednesday (November 28, 2018) in Geneva General Hospital. Friends may call 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday (Dec. 2) at Coe-Genung Funeral Home. The funeral service will be 11 a.m. Monday (Dec. 3) at the funeral home. Rev. Jeffrey Haugaard, pastor of St. Paul's Episcopal Church of Waterloo, will officiate. Spring burial will be in Grace-Willowdale Episcopal Church Cemetery in Fayette, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Seneca Cayuga ARC, 1083 Waterloo-Geneva Rd., Waterloo, NY, 13165. Dorothy was born May 20, 1920, in Canada, the daughter of William S. and Doris H. Mount Kerridge. She was a graduate of Waterloo High School. Dorothy was a longtime dairy and crop farmer with her husband, Robert. She will be remembered for her many years as a very active member and as senior warden of Grace-Willowdale Episcopal Church. Dorothy was a Seneca County 4-H leader. She was a member of SCLD which was a group that saved Sampson Park for everyone. Dorothy was recognized as Mother of the Year for March of Dimes. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great great grandmother. She is survived by her children; Thomas (Karen) Kime and Edward (Barbara) Kime both of Geneva, NY, Richard Kime of Waterloo, NY, and Sandra (Theodore) Robie of Hope Sound, FL; ten grandchildren, Scott Kime, Shawn Kime, Colleen Kime Gillan Kelly Kime Happ, Megan Kime Sessler, Jennifer Kime Mastin, Devon Messeacar, Shelli Kime DiCicco, Theo Robie, and Chelsea Robie; nineteen great-grandchildren, Dru DiCicco, Kodi DiCicco, Calib DiCicco, Brok DiCicco, Joshua Kime, Abbigail Kime, Gabrielle Kime, Madalyn Kime, McKenna Kime, Kinsey Kime, Rachel Gillan, Lauren Gillan, Allison Gillan, Zachary Sessler, Leah Sessler, Grant Happ, Eli Happ, Ryan Mastin, and Emily Mastin; one great great granddaughter, Amelia; daughter-in-law, Linda Kime of Romulus, NY; sisters, Kathleen Litzenberger of Waterloo and B. Jean Keefer of Geneva, NY; and many nieces and nephews. Dorothy was predeceased by her husband, Robert C. Kime; son, Robert W. Kime; and brothers, Calvin and Kenneth Kerridge.
