Waterloo – Paul O. Dickey, 81, of Waterloo, died Friday (Nov. 2, 2018) at his home with his loving family by his side. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday (Nov. 6) at Coe-Genung Funeral Home. The funeral service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday (Nov. 7) at the funeral home. Rev. William Reigle, pastor of Phelps Baptist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Waterloo, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association, 435 E. Henrietta Rd., Rochester, NY, 14620. Paul was born Nov. 5, 1936, in South Gate, CA, the son of Truman O. and Sadie Usher Dickey. Paul served for a short time in the U.S. Naval Reserves. He worked for years in radiator repairs. He drove truck for P & C Foods, Syracuse, NY, retiring after many years of employment. Paul also worked for Rochester Syracuse Auto Auction in Waterloo, NY. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Kathleen E. Kime Dickey; son, James T. Dickey of Waterloo, NY; daughter, Allison (Jeremy) McCarthy of Bath, NY; grandchildren, Sadie McCarthy, Amellia McCarthy, and Kyan Dickey; many nieces and nephews. Paul was predeceased by his parents; sisters, Eileen Monasco and Ida May Gutierrez. Condolences for the family may be sent to www.coegenungfuneralhome.com.
