Obituary of Elizabeth Helen Dilley

Waterloo – Elizabeth "Beth" H. Dilley, 68, of 16 Amherst Rd., died Saturday (October 27, 2018) at her home. In keeping with Beth's wishes, there will be no calling hours. A graveside service will be 11 a.m. Saturday (Nov. 3) at Oaklawn Cemetery, Phelps, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Diabetes Association, American Heart Association, or Bev's Animal Shelter, 50 E. River St., Waterloo, NY, 13165. Beth was born Dec. 31, 1949, in Geneva, NY, the daughter of William S. and Florence DeLand Palmer. She was a graduate of Geneva High School. Beth worked for various medical offices. Beth's three grandsons were the love her life! She spent most of her time caring for them when she was younger. Beth attended as many of their sporting events as was possible. She always put others before herself no matter what she was experiencing. Beth is survived by her husband of 47 years, William; daughters, Barbara A. Bailey of Phelps, NY and Nicole (Wayne) Ellison of Geneva, NY; grandchildren, Wayne Ellison, Jr., Timothy (Jessi) Ellison, Austin Ellison, Braeden Dilley, and Ethan Bailey; four great-grandchildren; brother, William (Arlene) Palmer and Bernard (Julie) Palmer both of Geneva, NY; brother-in-law, E. William Franklin of Phelps, NY; sister-in-law, Donna Palmer of Shortsville, NY; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; brothers, Wesley Palmer and George Palmer; and sisters, Sandra Carter, Patricia Franklin, Linda Palmer.
