Waterloo – David A. Cook, 69, of 2037 Powderly Rd., died Tuesday (Oct. 16, 2018) at Geneva General Hospital. There will be no calling hours. A Celebration of Life will be 1 p.m. Saturday (Oct. 20) at Finger Lakes Moose Club, 453 Waterloo-Geneva Rd., Waterloo, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the organization of one's choice. David was born Sept. 14, 1949, in Sodus, NY, the son of Warren and Alkone Gilman Cook. He was a graduate of Sodus High School. Dave was employed with several companies over the years, most recently at Dricor. He had a special love for farming and farmed for most of his life. He is survived by his wife, Patricia E. Cook of Waterloo, NY; daughter, Pam Cook of Seneca Falls, NY, stepdaughter, Teresa Hummer of Seneca Falls, NY; stepsons, Christopher Cooley of Jackson, Mississippi, Nicholas (Jennifer) Cooley of Clyde, NY; mother, Alkone Cook of Sodus, NY; grandchildren, Alexis, Provorse, Ryan Provorse, Elisha Hummer, Robert Hummer, Brandon Husner, Jordan Cooley, Jayden Cooley, Cassidy Cooley, and Madison Cooley; one great-granddaughter; stepbrother, Warren Annaccone of Buffalo, NY; many nieces and nephews.
