Waterloo – Keith A. Jurjens, Jr., 12, of 676 Stone Church Rd., died Wednesday (April 18, 2018) at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday (April 24) at Coe-Genung Funeral Home. The funeral service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday (April 25) at the funeral home. Rev. Jeffrey Haugaard, rector of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Waterloo, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Boy Scouts of America Troop 74, C/O St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 101 E. Williams St., Waterloo, NY, 13165; Ronald McDonald House 333 Westmoreland Dr., Rochester, NY, 14620; or Golisano Children's Hospital 601 Elmwood Ave., Rochester, NY, 14642. Keith was born Jan. 7, 2006, in Geneva, NY, the son of Keith A. and Michelle Anderson Jurjens, Sr. He was a student at Waterloo Middle School. Keith was a member of the school band as a percussionist. He enjoyed being a member and participating in the activities of Boy Scouts of America Troop 74 at St. Paul's Episcopal Church. He is survived by his parents; sisters, Karina Anderson and Larkin Jurjens both of Waterloo, NY; maternal grandmother, Susan Butler of Seneca Falls, NY; maternal grandfather, Ronald Anderson, Sr. of Waterloo, NY; many aunts, uncles, and cousins; and his faithful canine companion, Gracie. Keith was predeceased by paternal grandparents, Mello and Elva Jurjens; maternal step-grandfather, Jon Butler; and cousin, Jeffrey M. Jurjens.
