Fayette – Kenneth M. Hoster, 76 of Fayette, died Tuesday (March 13, 2018). Friends may call from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday (March 18) at Coe-Genung Funeral Home in Waterloo, NY. The funeral service will immediately follow at the funeral home. Spring burial will be in Canoga Cemetery in Fayette, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Canoga Volunteer Fire Department, 3576 Route 89, Seneca Falls, NY, 13148. Ken was born Oct. 21, 1941, in Seneca Falls, NY, the son of Willis M. and Emma M. Godley Hoster. He was a 1960 graduate from Mynderse Academy in Seneca Falls. Ken worked alongside his father on the family farm for many years. After the farm was sold, Ken worked for Seneca Stone until his retirement. He was an avid gardener. He is survived by his wife, Nancy Secor Hoster; son, Charles M. Hoster of Waterloo, NY; step-son, Thomas (Jennifer) O'Brien of Clemmons, NC; step-grandchildren, Brooke O'Brien and Trevor O'Brien; brothers, Ronald (Sharon) Hoster of Springhill, FL and William (Karen) Berry of Waterloo, NY; several nieces and nephews. Ken was predeceased by his first wife, Margaret S. Hoster; his parents; and his step-mother, Violet Hoster. Condolences for the family may be sent to www.coegenungfuneralhome.com.
