Obituary of Elizabeth Marie Snyder

Scipio Center – Elizabeth M. Snyder, 29, 3416 State Route 34, died Tuesday (February 20, 2018) at her home. Friends may call 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday (March 3) at Coe-Genung Funeral Home. The funeral service will immediately follow at the funeral home. Rev. Richard Mecklenborg, Executive Director for Hope Teen Challenge, will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hope Teen Challenge, 401 Mirador Rd., Vestal, NY, 13850. Elizabeth was born April 16, 1988, in Geneva, NY, the daugher of Raymond F and Nancy A. Snyder. She graduated from Waterloo High School in 2006. Liz was employed as a home healthaide with CDR in Rochester and Geneva. She was a member of Teen Challenge in Vestal, NY. Liz was also a member of Closer Walk of Central New York. She is survived by children, Timothy D. Thompson, III of Van Etten, NY, Landon J. Thompson and Alizay P. M. Branch of Scipio Center, NY; her mother, Nancy A. Snyder of Geneva, NY; sister, Sarah Snyder of Geneva, NY; maternal grandfather, Milton Skyner of Canandaigua, NY; fiance, Eddie L. Branch, Jr. of Scipio Center, NY; step children, Nathaniel Branch of Scipio Center and Carley Branch of Geneva, NY; dearly beloved friends, Dale A. and Carolyn Snover of Morvia, NY; many aunts, uncles, cousins, two nieces and one nephew. Liz was predeceased by her father, Raymond J. Snyder; paternal grandparents, Raymond T. and Margaret L. Cheney Snyder; and maternal grandmother, Marion Skyner; and aunts and uncles.
