Obituary of Sandra Leigh Parker

Sandra L. Parker Waterloo – Sandra L. Parker, 73, died Wednesday (January 24, 2018) at Seneca Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Waterloo, NY. There will be no prior calling hours. The funeral service will be 2 p.m. at First United Methodist Church, 340 Main St., Geneva, NY, Saturday (Jan. 27) with Rev. Tae Kun Kim, pastor, officiating. Spring burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Waterloo, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association, P.O. Box 417005, Boston, MA, 02241. Sandra was born Oct. 7, 1944, in Niagara Falls, NY, the daughter of Kenneth and Doris Whitt McCollum. Sandra was a member of the Niagara County Farm Bureau. She volunteered at the American Red Cross and the Geneva First United Methodist Church soup Kitchen. She is survived by husband of 54 years, David L. Parker; son, Steven (Michelle) Parker; daughter, Laura (Thomas) Hickson; grandchildren, Steven and Jonathan Hickson, Joshua and Sarah Parker, and Savannah Clark; brother, Gary (Susan) McCollum; sisters, Nancy (Arden) Patterson and Joan (Glen) Schaffer.
