Waterloo – Alberta K. Olschewske, 90, of 200 Douglas Dr., died Wednesday (June 28, 2017) at Geneva General Hospital. Friends may call 10 to 12 p.m. Monday (July 3) at Coe-Genung Funeral Home. Funeral service will immediately follow. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Waterloo, N.Y. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Elks Lodge B.P.O.E 992, P.O. Box 43, Seneca Falls, N.Y. 13148 or Waterloo Sportsman Club, P.O. Box 269, Waterloo, N.Y. 13165 Alberta was born August 9, 1926 in Freeville, N.Y., the daughter of William and Nora Doty Tanner. She was employed at Magnetic Components in Geneva and had worked 10 years at Shuron Optical. She was a former member of the Seneca Falls Elks Club Auxiliary, the Taylor Brown Auxiliary and the Serven Fire Department Auxiliary. She is survived by her daughter, Fran VanTine of Chelsea, MI; granddaughter, Cheryl Taber of Seneca Falls; grandson, Kirk (Aimee) VanTine of Dexter, MI; great-grandchildren, Brandon Taber, Emma and Lindsey VanTine; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Richard Olschewske in 2014, son-in-law, George VanTine, brothers, Howard, Paul, Alfred, Harold, and Charles Tanner; sisters, Louise Schell, Jean Kaufman and Doris Tanner.
