Obituary of William Clemens

SENECA FALLS – William J. Clemens, 68, of Murray Rd., died Friday (June 23, 2017) at home with his loving family by his side. There will be no calling hours. A committal service will be 11a.m. Tuesday (June 27) at Sampson Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Rt. 96A, Varick, N.Y. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to , P.O. Box 1000 Dept.142, Memphis, TN 38101-9908. William was born May 23, 1949, in Phelps, N.Y., the son of Allie F. and Esther J. Wilcox Clemens. He was a US Army veteran serving during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Waterloo Memorial Post 6433, V.F.W. and Warner VanRiper Post 435, American Legion. He was also a member of North American Fishing Club and Hunting Club. William was a car enthusiast and all around handy man. He is survived by his daughter, Becky (Sean Peck) Clemens of Ovid; granddaughters Madison and Olivia Peck; stepdaughter, Raelyn Coulter of Ariz.; brother, Bob Clemens of Okla.; sister, Debbie (Geri) Buckner of Colo; many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents, one sister and two brothers.
