Waterloo- Harold G. Cornwell "Papi", 57, died Tuesday (May 2, 2017) peacefully at home. Friends may call 11-1 p.m. Friday (May 5, 2017) at Coe-Genung Funeral Home in Waterloo. The funeral service will immediately follow with Rev. James Fennessy, pastor of St. Clare/St. Francis Church, officiating. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Waterloo, N.Y. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Judes Childrens Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN, 38105. Harold was born July 1, 1959, in Waterloo, N.Y., the son of Freeman and Dora Plate Cornwell. He was a graduate of Waterloo High School. He was employed at Zotos International, Inc., for 23 years. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. He is survived by his loving wife, Jolynn Cornwell; son, Cody (Danielle) Cornwell; daughter, Courtney Cornwell; stepchildren; Shannon Jones, Ellisha Pethybridge and Joshua Jones; sisters, Patricia (Fred) Smithoover, Bonnie (Wayne) Marchek, and Robin Cornwell; brother, Billy (Bernadine) Cornwell; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two grandchildren, and nephew, Wayne "Scooter" Marchek, Jr. Condolences may be sent to www.coegenungfuneralhome.com.
