Waterloo – R. Lorraine Trout, 83, of Waterloo, died Friday (March 3, 2017) at Pathway Home in Tyre, NY with her family by her side. Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday (Mar. 11) at Coe-Genung Funeral Home. The memorial service will immediately follow at the funeral home. Rev. Laura Calos, pastor of Waterloo United Methodist Church, will officiate. Spring burial will be in Fayette Rural Cemetery, Fayette, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Pathway Home, PO Box 516, Seneca Falls, NY, 13148. Lorraine was born Jan. 19, 1934, in Seneca Castle, NY, the daughter of Sidney B. and Julia O. Derrick Gordner. She was a graduate of Geneva High School. She worked for the Romulus School District in various positions for a number of years, until her retirement. For many years she attended the Varick United Methodist Church. Lorriane was an active member of Waterloo Memorial Post 6433, VFW Auxiliary. She is survived by sons, Steven D. (Patty) Trout and Charles S. (Regina Michalow) Trout both of Waterloo, NY; daughter, Cindy (Kenneth) Austin of Interlaken, NY; grandchildren, Molly (Patrick) Sierzenga, Don (Michelle Geraghty) Trout, Lisa (Brian) Phinney, Joshua Trout, Andrew (Katie) Trout, Teresa Trout, and Bethany (Benjamin) Calkins; step-grandchildren, Frank Austin and Judy (Dakota) Fritts; great-grandchildren, Cheianne, Zion, Zoe, and Julia Lorraine; brother, Paul (Marian) Gordner of Friendswood, TX and Earl (Henrietta) Gordner of Stanley, NY; sister, Donna (Stephen) Twitchell of Waterloo, NY; sister-in-law, Betty Gordner of Seneca Castle, NY; aunt, Myra Derrick of PA; many cousins, nieces and nephews; friend, Art Mastellar of Oaks Corners; and her faithful canine companion, Gretta.
