Seneca Falls – Gerald A. Anderson, Sr., 65, of 7 Sackett St., died Saturday (December 3, 2016) at Geneva General Hospital, with his family by his side. Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. Tuesday (Dec. 6) at Coe-Genung Funeral Home. The funeral service will immediately follow at the funeral home. Roderick E. Coe, will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Seneca Falls Volunteer Fire Department, P.O. Box 184, Seneca Falls, NY, 13148 or Mynderse Athletic Hall of Fame, Attn.: Rod Verkey, 105 Troy Street, Seneca Falls, NY, 13148. Jerry was born Dec. 22, 1950, in Waterloo, the son of Charles G., Sr. and Eva R. Underwood Anderson. He retired from International Paper in Geneva, after many years of employment. He was a member of Kirk-Casey Post 366, American Legion. Jerry was an avid Syracuse University and Yankees fan. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Cindy TenEyck Anderson; sons, Gerald (Kelly) A. Anderson, Jr. and Matthew (Angela) Anderson both of Seneca Falls; daughter, Mandy (Francis) McCann of Geneva; grandchildren, Brittany, Lauren, Abigail, Devin, Jocelyn, Alexis, Nicholas, and Graysen, due Dec. 22; brothers, Charles (Catherine) Anderson of Phelps, Ronald Anderson of Waterloo, and Robert Anderson of Geneva; sisters, Rose Wandell of Waterloo and Janet Peisher of Clifton Springs; many cousins, nieces and nephews. He also survived by his dog, Sandy and cat, Mittens. Jerry was predeceased by sister, Joan Arno. Condolences for the family may be sent to www.coegenungfuneralhome.com.
