Obituary of Alpha Rath

Sunset, LA - Alpha L. Rath, age 89, passed away Saturday, December 15, 2012. Burial will be in Sand Hill Cemetery in Stanley at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday Dec. 19. Alpha lived most of her life in Stanley, NY working on a farm and raising her four children with her husband, Raymond. She moved to Sunset, LA in 1989 to be close to her daughter, Annette. She leaves to cherish her memory, two sons, Ronald Rath and his wife, Cheryl, of Sumter, SC and William Rath and his wife, Say Hee, of Snellville, GA; one daughter, Annette Samec and her husband, Bill, of Sunset, LA; one brother, Kenneth Chase of Lyons; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Rena Chase; one daughter, Patricia Rath; and one brother, Bernard Chase.
