Waterloo - Dorothy Alma Freier Pratt, 92, of 3018 Knauss Rd., died Friday (October 5, 2012) peacefully at her home. Friends may call 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday (Oct. 8) at Coe-Genung Funeral Home in Waterloo. A private graveside service will be in Maple Grove Cemetery in Waterloo at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Caitlin E. Gillan Scholarship Waterloo Education Association, c/o Daniel Doore, WEA Treasurer, 65 Center St., Waterloo, 13165. Dorothy was born March 29, 1920 in Wyoming, Wisconsin, the daughter of Ludwig (Louie) and Nathalia Gaul Freier. She was a graduate of Geneva High School at the age 16. She retired after many years of employment with GTE Sylvania in Seneca Falls. Dorothy was a former member of Calvary Lutheran Church. She enjoyed her home and was an avid gardener. She is survived by her daughter: Diane (Russell R.) Gillan of Waterloo; grandson: Russell R. (Colleen) Gillan, II of Geneva; granddaughter: Jennifer Loncosky of Rochester; great granddaughters: Rachel and Lauren Gillan; great grandson: Archer Loncosky; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son: Duane Pratt; one granddaughter: Caitlin "Katy" E. Gillan; brothers: Emil, Albert, Wilbur, Carl, and Louie Freier; and sisters: Olga Richmond, Etta Harris, and Lillian Clemenson.
